The machine picks up the fennel with the gripping belts, cuts off the root, removes the foliage and conveys the product via the sorting table and depositing device to the storage crate.
The fennel harvester shown stands out for its efficiency and ease of use and was specifically designed to optimize the process of harvesting fennel and filling crates.
The Asa-Lift PO-335A is a versatile, mounted single-row gripping-belt harvester originally designed for leeks, but specifically adapted by the manufacturer ASA-LIFT (Grimme Group) for the mechanical harvesting of fennel for the fresh market.
